RIOT pro boxing series comes to San Jose with six-bout card at Civic Auditorium

SAN JOSE (June 26, 2007) – The RIOT professional boxing series that has sold out shows for 15 years in Monterey comes to San Jose on Saturday, July 14 when a six-bout card will be presented at the San Jose Civic Auditorium.

The 7:30 p.m. event schedule features four Bay Area pros including a 10-round bout for the California Junior Welterweight Championship and a women’s bout:

Junior Welterweight (10 rounds)
Jesus “Chuy” Rodriguez ( Salinas , 14-2) vs. Hector “The Mongoose” Alatorre ( Tulare , 14-1)
Junior Middleweight (8 rounds)
Sherwin Davis ( Salinas , 18-4) vs. Ramon Espinoza (Pacoima, 10-7)
Lightweight (6 rounds)
Eloy Perez ( Salinas , 7-0-1) vs. Carlos Musquez ( Sacramento , 3-1-1)
Super Heavyweight
Keith Spencer ( U.S. Navy) vs. TBA
Women
Cynthia Talmadge ( San Francisco , pro debut) vs. Jennifer Barber (Northridge, 1-0)
Plus one additional bout TBA

Tickets are $40 reserved, $60 preferred, $80 ring center and $100 ringside.
